BUILDING AN EMPLOYEE-DRIVEN CULTURE OF MENTORSHIP IN A DIGITAL LANDSCAPE

Mentoring is a powerful personal development and empowerment tool that can transform organizational success if implemented correctly. But mentoring programs can be difficult to implement and maintain especially when matching is assigned by HR. We gave employees opportunities to connect in serendipitous ways around interests and skills and it has created a culture of mentorship that is self-perpetuating and vibrant. Employees choose the relationships and communities they want to participate in and share relevant resources to help grow skills across the company. This session will share best practices from implementing this program, especially around how tech can empower employees to make meaningful connections at work.
